I’m fortunate to have grown up and lived in northern Minnesota, this has allowed me the opportunity to fish many different types of water systems and I have logged hundreds of hours on the water. I’ve been an avid fisherman since my youth fishing whenever the opportunity presented itself whether it is on a lake, stream, or river. My wife Roxanne and I, have lived and fished extensively in West Central Minnesota  for over 25 years, which is also our home. After being introduced to trout fishing, we were hooked and have logged hundreds of hours on the water.
       While fishing out of our 18’ Lund Alaskan powered by a 75 HP Mercury we use several different techniques while fishing depending on the season, weather, and the mood of the fish. The main focus of our guide service is trout fishing in area lakes for rainbow trout; we generally still fish with bait for these fish, or troll using long lines or down riggers as conditions dictate. We have some excellent trout fishing right here in north-central Minnesota in the heart of walleye country in a number of lakes that are stocked annually by the DNR. Trout taken from the clear cold waters of these stocked stream trout lakes are excellent table fare and a downright blast to catch and it’s easy for the young fisherman to enjoy as well. These trout can also be caught on a fly rod with certain times of the year being better, we can also provide fly-fishing trips for warm water species as well any time of the year.
       My wife and I love to fly fish and have been able to enjoy fly-fishing in Arizona, Missouri, Montana, Oklahoma, Wisconsin as well as here in Minnesota. It is our passion for the outdoors and fishing that lead us to start our guide service and be able to share the excitement of trout fishing & fly-fishing with others. Whether this is your first time out, or if you are a fishing veteran, we want to share with you the excitement of fishing on some of the most beautiful lakes in the area! 
      Professionally, I'm a paramedic and an instructor with an advanced life support ambulance service, and Roxanne and I have been blessed with three daughters and ten grandchildren, who love to go fishing with grandma and grandpa.
